Reflection about the Mock Interview.

On the wednesday, I took a Mock Interview which was for the job interview.

I chose the Promotion Manager of 20C Fox as my interviewing goal.

I gave the interviewer my resume, and started the interview.

However, it was full of mistakes, I think I was not prepared enough to take an interview.

I can make a list of the mistakes that I made in the interview.

1. The first question was "Tell me about yourself".

For this question, I wanted say who I am. However, I misunderstood the situation and
I told him that I'm a senior of this university. Maybe, if I was sure about the whole situation of
this interview, I could tell him more clearly.

2. The second qustion was "Why do you want to be a promotion manager of our company?".

For this question, I've already thought about this topic. So, it was a little easy for me to
talk about my thinking. I think media industry will be one of the most important and flourishing
part of cultural industry. However, I think there are so many cultural barriers and differencies
between Asian countries and Western countries. I want to take a role of bridge between those two
    different part of cultural industry.

Reflection about 1st. SHELF project.

It was the first time that I worked for the SHELF Project.

My group chose our project subject as eating broadcasting show, so called Muk Bang.

I think the choice of our subject was the best that we could.

At first, we planned to make a video of ourselves about the subject.

It had little problem that we could not  take the video for not very long time.

We chosed to make this video through Google Hang-Out.

Because the time for us to talk with other people was a little short for us to make it perfect.

In the next project, we will have enough time to prepare for taking our video.

SHELF Project

This video is uploaded for the Project SHELF(Second Half English Learning Fun)

In this project, I want to make a show, some kind of podcasters.

My goal is make a public talk show that is not only for learning Enlish, but also for fun.

The video was taken by british men who like Korea.

They use Korean and try to introduce Britain to Korean people.

I uploaded that video because it can be some kind of source of my talk show also.

It says about the differences of british  dialects( or accents).

I want to make a show which introduce Korea to whole world through youtube.

WHIPLASH - New Trailer

I saw this movie about a month ago, but I was a little busy to write about this movie.

WHIPLASH is the story of conflict between jazz drummer Andrew and his conductor Fletcher.

Both of them are madly enthusiastic about the jazz music.

106 minutes of running time made me like that kind of music.

I recommend people to watch this movie certainly and listen the BGM of this movie also.

If you do, you will understand what I felt with this movie.

Songs I Like : Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars

Collaboration between the best DJ and also the best singer-songwriter.

I want to name this song like that. It is so famous in the world now. I can hear 'Uptown Funk'

everywhere I walk. When I feel loneliness or lethargy, I always listen this song.

Mark Ronson's sensual touch make me dance, and Bruno Mars' cool voice make me

sing along. I think this is the perfectly exciting funk ever.

Youtube Video for Learning language.

This is the Youtube video which is uploaded by TED.

TED is a global set of conferences run by private non-profit foundation.

According to their own moto; "Ideas Worth Spreading", They invite lots of speakers who are

very famous or forerunning in many sections. Like their moto, it should be spreaded for

everywhere in the world. So most of the words, or expressions taken by speakers are not very

difficult or in-depth. For that reason, I think it can be very useful for language learning through

listening and understanding of the speakers' speech.

I chose this TED video because of the speaker. These days, I can hear his famous song 'Uptown

Funk' everywhere in street or shops even many tv-shows. This video might be taken before he

wrote the song. So I think it also can be one of the sources for understanding his musical world.

If you have time, you can hear the 'Uptown Funk' in my blog.

Week#1 - Getting Acquainted and Getting Set up (Mon. 02. May. 2015.), (Wed. 04. May. 2015.)

ENG250 Audiovisual English: Week#1 - Getting Acquainted and Getting Set up

In this week, we didn't have a full-time classes.

What we did in the classes were talking with group members and interviewing them.

It was good for rebooting my language skills of English which were almost dead; because I have

never used English as a language after I went to army.

The assignments were very easy.

The first thing was just registering for some sites such as G-mail, Blogger, Quizlet.

The second thing was a little difficult and seem strange to me.

It was uploading the 1~5 minute self-introduction video on the BAND.

It was first time that I have made my own selfie video ever.

This is my video. I used some pictures, sound effects by video editting program.

I brought idea from famous YouTube show named '영국남자(British man)'.

This was the great week for me to start this semester well.
